Though she doesn't wear heavy armor of any kind, she will commonly wear thick gloves, and many with clawed tips. She is often seen wearing deep blues, her favorite color.PERSONALITY: Bright, cheerful. Optimistic. She comes off as very polite and calm upon any first meeting, taking initial impressions very seriously. Behind the social niceties, she is as stubborn as they come, devoted to her own desires and interests. Her desire to tinker is second only to her love of wandering to find places far and wide, to learn new cultures, people, dances, and see the stars from every land.Background
Born the only heiress of the Burwani Sharlayan family, there were a lot of expectations placed on Cyrene to enter the Studium, perfect her knowledge in Astrologian studies, and marry off to another powerful family to inherit a cozy life. She achieved none of this.
For reasons she is always vague on, she quit the Studium, ran off to Ul'dah, and enrolled to learn Black magic instead. Her first foray into life outside the gilded walls of Sharlayan were not as successful as she had hoped, resulting her having to pick up an axe and learn to defend herself.It all ultimately led her to red magic, the perfect balance between magic and sword, an art that called to her. Measured, outside of politics and free from the chains of nation or family, she threw herself into it with gusto and has endeavored to become a master of the craft.She continued to tinker on the side, making a hobby of building and maintaining mechanisms, helping guilds and companies alike. She had no plans of ever going back to Old Sharlayan, but after taking a few commissions from the Ironworks Guild, she became a formal member in time to get involved with the scholars in Labyrinthos. She's now sporting the title of a Systems Aetherologist, using her aether studies and love of machines together, once more in perfect balance.

Stargazer - Know a nice place to view the stars? Doesn't matter how difficult it is to get to, or how far off the beaten path, Cyrene wants to know, and wants to see it. She loves sharing the stars with others, and will always spend a night under blankets with hot drinks talking about the constellations.Dance Collector - Cyrene loves to dance, and she loves learning any and all new dances she can. Lirr was born in the depths of the Golmore Jungle, a Rava Viera of the Wood. Allowed to run free and develop with the other children, Lirr found joy in learning how to be a warrior for the Wood. From a very young age, they were determined to one day become a Warden. When they manifested, much to their horror, it was a woman's body that greeted them, not the man they knew they should be.
Their mother was shocked when Lirr demanded to become a man, to be a Warden like they always dreamed of. But she was a mother willing to do anything to make her child happy, even if it meant paying off a doctor to perform the necessary surgery. And so Lirr began his life as a man, passed the Warden test and became Lirr-Setlas.There was just one rule dear mother drilled into Lirr-Setlas' soul. He could never be someone's mate. Unable to bear or sire children by his own choice, he could never, and would never be chosen. His secret had to remain intact.And so Lirr-Setlas practiced severe isolation after his Mentor completed his training, never returning home. Never seeing another soul for decades until one day by chance he met a Sharlayan scholar wandering the wood.It ended in tragedy, one the Viera does not talk about to this day. The scholar abandoned him, denouncing his cruel and small heart, declaring he regretted ever teaching Lirr-Setlas magic.Feeling lost and spurned, Lirr-Setlas left the Wood, seeking Sharlayan and his former Teacher, hoping to find out why they thought empathy, heart, and care were so damn important. Enough to abandon him. He would squeeze the answers out of Eorzea if he had to.

Wanderer: Artemis is constantly wandering around the world, and is happy to have company. Especially open to offers of new experiences and food.Collector: An avid collector of lost, forbidden, or magical books, he is easily enticed by the promise of literature of any kind and isn't above stealing to acquire.Scholar: In the same vein, Artemis loves to learn about others, their cultures, and what beliefs matter to them. He is also a sucker for seeing how others use magic.The Missing: There is often mention of a teacher no longer in Artemis' life. He is usually vague on the details, but seems determined to achieve a goal connected to this unnamed mentor.The Gloves: Come water, sun, or snow, Artemis is never ever without their gloves, even in a public bath. He refuses to ever take them off around others for some reason.Nutkin: Always by his side, his familiar Nutkin seems to be slightly different from your every day run of the mill rodent.

Leather, punk, rough, whatever you want to call it, she loves it.PERSONALITY: She is a walking red flag, through and through. She refuses to do anything for free, or take anything for free, owing no one. Rough, unsociable. Chaotic, always wanting to drink, or party. She doesn't make friends, and refuses to get close to people in any kind of long term. She has a strict no feelings policy with anything that she does. An adrenaline junkie, she has quite a bad habit of gambling that has gotten her in a lot of trouble.Background
Born to a traveling merchant, Nila never met her father. The road was her first memory, and all that she knew for the longest time.
What she didn't know was that her mother's freedom came with a price. Her clan was plagued with a small pool to pick from after leaving the Steppe to pursue a better life in Kugane, and the head came up with a very unorthodox solution. Those of marrying age were allowed to seek out life, love, and adventure at every corner of the world, no questions asked, as long as they promised one thing. Any child they sired would be folded back into the clan in Kugane and live under clan rules.In their travels, a chance meeting in Gridania while engaging in trade revealed Nila had a knack for conjury magic, and her mother tried to use that as leverage to keep Nila from having to go back to Kugane, unbeknownst to her. It backfired terribly, with the clan head excited to have a trained healer, demanding she be brought back to be married off immediately.A married woman would have to be proper, and come back once she was done training, after all. Bound by their promise, Nila's mother took them both back to Kugane, unaware of who the Head had picked to marry her young teenage child. An old widower, not much longer for this world, being folded back into the family by this marriage to take his successful son back into the clan as well. And by the time Nila finished her conjury training, he would likely be dead, leaving her free to be married off to someone better to improve the clan.Nothing went as planned, the details of which Nila keeps very much to herself. A series of events that ended with Nila divorced, in millions of gil in debt to multiple underground gambling rings, missing organs, and procuring a job as a private janitor that made sure no evidence was left behind to keep collectors off her ass.To this day, she can't resist a gamble, or a risk, and is very adamant about doing nothing for free, there's debts to be paid after all.

Nothing Given/Nothing Received - Nila follows a strict code of never taking anything for free, and never doing anything for free either. She refuses to owe anyone, Wanderer - Nila loves traveling, visiting new places and seeing new sights.Social Butterfly - Nile loves to party and be among crowds. If you know of any parties, she wants to be there.Hedgehog - Despite her social nature, Nila claims she has no friends, and does not want any. She seems hells bent on keeping everyone at arm's length, insisting it's for their safety.Adrenaline Junkie - Nila lives to kill her boredom, either through partying, drinking, games, or whatever to fill every moment of her life with something to do.Gambling Addict - Nila should never be trusted anywhere near a casino, or with money. She will lose it, squander it, and be far worse off for it.Questionable Healer - Though she will reluctantly admit she is a doctor and a trained one at that, she is very adverse to putting herself in any danger or harm. Quick to heal others, she has never been seen healing herself.

APPEARANCE: What looks to be mostly Miqo'te body, is broken up by the jarring addition of various creature parts. A living chimera, with draconic claws for hands, harpy wings, alkonost horns, slitted eyes and a whipping Ra-la tail, it's hard to tell how much is still the Miqo'te, or if it was even the framework to begin with.PERSONAL STYLE: What style the creature may have had once is long gone. For now, they wear what they can find.PERSONALITY: Bright, chirpy, and playful, they have some understanding that the world they knew is long gone and never coming back. After watching adventurers wantonly kill all the other Chimera in the facility, he is a little wary of people wielding weapons around him. He has a habit of stealing other people's voices, disgruntled that he can't quite get it correct, as if driven by a need to.BackgroundThere was once a Miqo'te, during a time long lost to history. In the height of the Empire's decline, desperate souls may have signed themselves up to be experimented on, to further Chimeric research, in exchange for protections. The reasons varied, to protect homes, families, or to avoid being put to war. But it all ended the same, history was at least able to record that much.Limited by the Allagan tech wrapped around his wrists and neck, the creature was held in stasis until adventurers finally breached The Aetherochemical Research Facility in Azys Lla while in conflict with the Garleans. Released as a defense mechanism, this creature decided to hide rather than fight, watching as all the other chimera were slain. He waited until all fighting has ceased before slipping out into this new world, one without his doctor or their directive.

Chimera - There is no hiding that this creature is a whole slew of creatures jammed into one, and many of the creatures abilities look to possibly be useable by the creature as well. One has to be careful when dealing with him, lest they end up on the wrong end of a shocking skill. There is also the chance to make use of such things.Skittish - Having been awakened to the sounds of fighting and witness to all of their 'brethren' hunted down, the creature is very skittish around weapons being drawn or brandished in any way, and is quick to resort to putting threats to sleep to avoid them. One might have to learn how not to startle the creature so easily.Mimic? - The creature seems to possess the urge and ability to steal other peoples' voices. But try as he might, he can't get their cadence down, something just is never quite right.Allagan techwear - Bound around the wrists and neck is complicated Allagan technology. It looks to be performing some kind of constant regulation on the creature, but is ancient technology lost to time. What would one discover tinkering with it?
